As an alumnus of this school, I would caution anyone considering admission to research both program and entire institution before venturing into an agreement with WGU. The domains that are taught here (yes, DOMAINS - NOT individual courses) are not easily recognized or accepted by other institutions of higher learning. I am a certificated teacher with an MAEd in elementary education and went back to school to acquire the ELL endorsement for my teaching license. This program is extremely challenging and it takes a very dedicated and disciplined person to complete the course work. Cons: Many people will not be able to keep up with the course load due to a lack of self-discipline. The assignments are not always clear and that can be frustrating. ...
