Carrington College

Do yourself a favor and avoid "carrington" College In albuquerque New Mexico. I went through the Pharmacy technician program. I had the Worst experience possible while I was there I went through 3 teachers 3 Clinical coordinators 3 deans and a staff that did nothing for me. I had to find my externship by myself because the clinical Coordinator at the time was to lazy to do her Job and even though she was complained about by most EVERY student she didnt get fired until she got into it with another teacher. By the time they got a good clinical coordinator it was to late for me and I was leaving for externship in 2 weeks time.The only reason I even got through "Carrington" College was because of my teacher who was fired because the new "dean" who by the way has NO buisness being dean had a grudge against him for who knows what but it was ridiculous and everytime he came into our classroom he was unprofessional. My teacher James went above a...nd beyond his job. He was probably the only teacher in the program at the time who new what he was teaching the other teachers I had were a complete joke and I have no idea how they got teaching jobs let alone the clinical coordinator postition. James was what a real should have been.And because my teacher was fired most of my class dropped out! And the rest of us including myself protested graduation!The rules at thecollege were constantly changing one minute we were aloud to leave early then we weren't then it was manditory on thursday and then it was banned again. "Carrington" college is also be...ing protested by local construction workers here because they can't be bothered to pay them for there work. Which does not really suprise me seeing as when I went to "Carrington" our pharmacy supplies was way out dated and nothing close to what I would expect for the price I paid. Do yourselfs a favor and avoid "Carrington College" in Albuquerque its a waste of you time and money.

Carrington College is the worst private college i know. My daughter was in Veterinary Technology and they kicked her out of the last semester. They didn't care on the effort she made to get to that point, and careless on the money I paid for my daughter to go to that college, thinking it was going to be a practical, great experience for my daughter. It had been a nightmare. The teachers are careless about the students. They never respond e-mails and calls in a timely manner. During her last semester at that college my daughter's teacher never help her with a semester project. the teacher was mean and make my daughter's  live miserable. My daughter has learning disabilities and ADHD, but they never care on the effort my daughter had to make to study Veterinary Technician, but they kicked her out of the college. I understand she violated one of the status of the college, but they could reconsider her to graduate, understanding my daughter difficulties to get a degree.
People with disabilities and ADHD never acted and respond like the typical person. Their mind think differently, but the college administrator and Director of Veterinary program ignored that.
I'm sorry for the students who decide to go to Carrington College. The people who manage such institution don't have any interest in the student as a person, but they care about the money the student bring to them.
Please I advisede don't go to this college.
