I graduated in 2006 with a Diploma in networking & IT. The books were up to date and the documentation too. Useful explanation when I needed and a very nice student support. I will go back again for the JAVA programming or for the Associates degree in SE

Very happy with C.I.E. World College. The materials are relevent and the support is excellent. If you get behind or miss out on communicating with the college, they get on to you and prod you to be successful. I especially like the egrade system. You will not be disappointed.

Hello Lionel,

can you tell me please the agency in France that you did register your diploma/degree? I live in FR and I'd like to visit their site to see if I'm eligible...

Merci d'avance

I am considering the Electronics Engineering Technology course from CIE ... I would like to get the Bachelors Degree.

My question is ... what kind of employement could I get after the degree? I know thats a broad question ... but am concerned that it might not be recongized by some employeers as valid? I am currently repairing Industrial Radiation Equipment ... and have been in the maintenance field for 5-7 years ... if that helps.

I have been a student for a couple of years in Broadcast Engineering , wireless, and now in Electronics Technology with Laboratory. The courses are very affordable but it is difficult to find an instructor with knowledge in this field since there are a very large number of lesson packets. Electronics is not as popular as in the past and the courses have not been updated for many years. I did pass my FCC license exams and my knowledge level continues to increase although I have relatively little time to devote to the courses.
In many fields, such as wireless and HDTV, they have decided to forgo writing their own packets and rely upon standardized texts which are less likely to contain errors and typos and should be more current. Their degrees may not be accepted by other universities but the idea is to train you for a vocation and knowledge is often more important than degrees or certification.

kouzoulos,

I wander if anyone with such degree had evaluation done in their country etc.

UK, France and European countries I think they recognized DETC accredited degrees as they are Nationally Accredited in USA.

Mo,
I agree with you. I had the same good experience with Andy, even if I live in France.

I like the egrade on-line system CIE is using.

I'm a Bachelor degree student at World College. WC is owned by the Cleveland Institute of Electronics.
All my undergrad lower level courses are from CIE and upper level from WC.
I have only good things to share. Student support is exceptionally good.
One call or email to to Andrew Podsiadlo and immediate reply with solution or requested info, really nice person to work with.

If you have any questions just call Andy

short descriptions about CIE/World College:
simple, affordable & you pay only for what you completed.
if you have good study habits, distance learning is ideal for you. If not, it will cost you more.
