Indiana State University Reviews:

Not ready for online program
July 28, 2008
I enrolled in one of online classes in this university. From registration through withdrawal it was hassle. Instructor did not participate in any of class discussions AT ALL!! I attened some other online classes and by far this was the worst. Simply, this university is not ready for online delivery ...

Fantastic Program
April 21, 2008
I have been enrolled in this program for four years and now in the process of completing the dissertation. I can't express how pleased I am with the course content, teaching style (for most of the professors, not all) and philosophy of program delivery. This is a great value and ...

Outstanding
March 27, 2007
This is quite possibly the best online program in HRD on the net. The material and academics far exceeded my expectations and I was able to easily use this degree program to change careers. I am now a training manager for a major corporation. I would highly recommend ISU's online ...

I read the program summary but was not sure what they meant by:
"During the Residency year, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 semester hours in either the fall or spring semester. The balance of hours necessary to meet residency requirements (a minimum of 9 additional hours) may be completed during the remaining semester(s) (including summer sessions".... how do you complete the 9 hours, by living in Indiana? If it is by distance learning, how does it satisfy a residency requirement?

ALso, they said you have to pay tuition separately and enroll separately to each of the participating universities. That seems a bit cumbersome..?

It seems good and well respected University.. but might be difficult to coordinate in 3-4 years?

Perhaps someone can provide some first hand experience on this program..

Thanks
