Keiser is NOT a scam! However, they do expect their students to pay triple or even quadruple of your other local schools. Check the facts. Keiser charges roughly $7,000.00 (includes their unexplained $500 "education fee") per 4 month semester which breaks down to $583.33 per credit hour. Even my local university (University of Central Florida) only charges $167 per credit hour. If you are looking at a community college, then it is somewhere around $90-$100 per credit hour. The plus to Keiser is that you only take one class at a time and are finished with it in 4 weeks. Awesome! It is only my opinion that it is not worth the money spent. If you complete your education through Keiser, your student loan payment will be equivelent to a mortgage! Buyer beware!

Scam school claimed I did not have a balance, applied for numerous loans for me and I still end up with a high balance. No one will tell me nothing and I want to sue for fraud and mishandling of my funds. Every school, even the public ones have done a better job. I suggest people stick to local schools because a out of state school will stiff you.

I have attended Keiser for a year now, so far so good. I like their programs and they are well structured for working people. Most of the other people I talked to at work are very satisfied with the school. The school has a good reputation around here, but you will see most of the complaints are based either on the financial loans or the costs of the classes...yes they are EXPENSIVE but that does not mean classes are bad as a matter of fact I also take online classes at a local STATE college and classes are no different. Again biggest complaint is COST, the university itself ill give it two thumbs up.

Hello,

I am considering transfering into the masters of education program. Does anyone know how long are the online classes are. I am currently attending the University of Phoenix Online and they are not good at all.

I am a current student at the Orlando campus. The teachers are great - it's the Dean's that suck. The histology program, in the last 2 months, has lost the Program Director, Lab Instructor, and Lecture Instructor. All the Deans do is blow smoke up our asses. They just got their FIRST replacement in last week for the new class, the new P.D. should be there at the end of this month, STILL don't have a new lab instructor, and currently do not have a lecture instructor. Dean Crawford and Dean Madrid need to do the program a favor and resign so we can stop losing teachers!!!

I do not understand these complaints my experiences at Keiser University were very different. I was helped every step of the way. My Admissions Counselor and Financial Aid advisor explained everything to me. How could someone not know they are taking out money or that they would have to pay it back. You read and sign off on everything they do. Time of own up and pay attention. I loved this school, I graduated from this school and they found me a great job.
Take responsibility for your own stupidity!

Financial aid department has no idea what they are doing! I was told I would have no expenses to pay for, everything would be covered with financial aid and my student loans. Well 4 months in I got a letter saying I owed 250 dollars. I called to discuss this and they could not explain to me why this was going on. I decided to withdraw once I completed my first semester and I just got a bill saying I owe 4000 dollars because I didnt withdraw until 2 weeks into the second semester. I called and once again they couldnt explain it to me. She said that once you decide to withdraw they have up to 30 days to finalize it. So they are saying I have to pay 4000 dollars for TWO weeks of something I had nothing to do with. 4000 dollars for just two weeks seems a little extreme anyway. Do not attend this school...its horrible and they do not have a clue what they are doing. You will never get straight answers out of them.

Horrible school with insanely priced tuition! They promise to find you a job when you finish your program but that is completely false, you will not find a job because employers turn you away when they see you graduated from this school because it has a bad reputation and because of the lack of education the graduates have in their career field.
