I am considering enrolling. I've done a bit of research about them and they look like a good choice for me to get an AAS degree in Social Work. If anyone has taken this path and can offer any advise (good or bad) about the school or the courses it would help me a lot.

I would stay away. I had nothing but problems with them and their degrees are terminal. You will have a hard time transfering their credits to a BA/BS program. There are better schools out there, shop around.

Am seriously considering McKinley for my Assoc. in HIM. Do they require or have "clinicals" within the fields of study or any type of pre-graduate work experience that must be completed before graduation? I live in the middle of nowhere and it's about a 70 mile trip for me to get to the nearest city large enough to find work in my field. Would be way too far to go for just a couple of hours daily

Just signed up for the HR Mgmt degree with McKinley... Very smooth enrollment process and awesome pricing for the staff support and the course layout/materials received. Seems as if it will be a pleasant experience thus far ... I'll keep you posted if anything changes! Feel free to contact me via email or messenger with any questions about my experience with them...

I'm wanting to start at Mckinley very soon, but before I start I want to know if I will be able to get a job as having them as my education? Or will it not help me?

I am currently enrolled in their HIM program. I am going into my second semester. I am pleased with the college so far. They respond quickly to your questions and needs. You also won't find a better price than theirs. I think Mckinley is a great choice.

Before I signed up with Mckinley College, I checked them out through the U.S. Department of Education. They are completely legitimate. They are licensed and accredited.
They are also listed with NATTS. (National Association of
Trade and Technical Schools) P.O. Box 2006, Annapolis Maryland 20701-2006. The government gives them high marks as far as being a decent online school. I wouldn't have signed up with Mckinley College if I thought they were a fly by night operation. Other online schools want a lot more money to attend their programs. A similar degree through the University of Phoenix would cost $30,000 a year.
I should finish my AAS in accounting in about a year. Good luck and I would recommend this school to anyone.

This College is accredited, but if enroll in HIM or HIT be aware that when you graduate from the course. YOU ARE NOT eligible to take the RHIT exam. Please make sure you read about RHIT because this is a great ordeal for your future. If you are not registered you will not get a job with a big corporation.

Wondering if anyone has gotten a degree in accounting then tried to go to another college to get bachelors and had problems with hours transfering? don't want to waste time and take classes and none of them transfer.
