The M.A. Human Resources Training and Development for Law Enforcement (M.A.H.R.T.D.) at Seton Hall University is an excellent online program. The instrutors are outstanding and the on campus orientations allow you to meet your classmates/peers in a classroom environment. Your not just a userid and password but an important member of the student body.

I am a criminal investigator/special agent with a federal law enforcement agency in Washington, DC. I am also a veteran of the Gulf War with over 18 years of law enforcement experience. I spent several years reviewing programs before finding the right program and getting up the courage to go back to school. As a busy professional, who is unable to pursue the traditional campus based program, I chose the M.A. Human Resources Training and Development for Law Enforcement (M.A.H.R.T.D.) at Seton Hall University. I wanted an online program at a respected university/college but I wanted to be more than just a userid and password. The occasional on campus (beautiful) orientations allow me the opportunity to meet with my instructors and classmates in a classroom environment. The instructors and administrative personnel have been great! They make you feel like a real member of the Seton Hall student body (Go Pirates!). The program is challenging but extremely rewarding. My classmates/peers are law enforcement professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and I would recommended this program to other law enforcement professionals looking to prepare themselves for leadership roles within their organizations.

Hello All...I am currently a student in this program, goin on my second semester. It was a lil challenging to get back into school again, and an MA is not easy. None-the-less, the professors are right by your side and always available for you being that there is no classroom setting. Its very convenient being my schedule is so messed up. I would recommend this program for anyone who's situation is like mine and they are willing to put the time in to finally go back to school and complete their masters. There is no time like the present!!!
