UC Berkeley Extension Online

I was thinking about doing a certificate program through UCB but after checking things out combined with some of the reviews I have read here and at other forums, I think I will go else where......thanks for helping me decide.

I took an online JavaScript course here that was awful.  I finished having no idea what I had paid for.

I got zero feedback for the entire class.  Every assignment I submitted was replied to with an email saying it was received and that I was doing a good job in the course.  That was it.  For my final project, I accidentally submitted the wrong file (one that completely didn't work when it was opened).  Even this elicited zero feedback.

The online lectures were out of date and didn't go well with the book (since the book had been revised several times).

I've heard good things about the on-campus classes, but I would never take another online course here.

The Berkeley online courses are terrible. You pay 7x the price of a normal junior college class, and get no video, no lectures, nothing. Both of my "professors" were nothing more than glorified assignment graders who were incapable of speaking English well enough to answer any questions that I had. So basically, Berkeley would like you to pay a 700% premium over a junior college to teach yourself from a book and have them assign you a grade. No thanks. 

After a few weeks I dropped both courses for a full refund.

Excellent reputation as an institution of higher learning. My dream school, wish they offered a few online degrees for busy,working, (i.e. married,etc ),professionals. It's the wave of the future.
