Horrible professors! No advising offered at all. Complete waste of money and time!

I am currently working on my EdS degree and nearing the completion of the program. Having never taken an online class, I was a bit apprehensive about earning a degree through online courses. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try. Thanks to a rigorous program and knowledgeable professors, I have learned a great deal this past year and a half. Everything from creating a website, developing curriculum webs, evaluating technology, and researching theory and ...

Great program!!

The Ed. S. Online program prepares tomorrow’s technology leaders today. Built on solid adult pedagogy, students are given opportunities, research, design, develop and evaluate a wide variety of instructional tools. It is very challenging! You will feel the digital burn. But it is so worth the hard work.

A Good Experience
September 5, 2006
I completed my Specialist (6 year) degree here. It was a good experience. I feel like I learned a lot to help me improve my teaching ability. A large emphasis was placed on curriculum design which has helped me better understand how to adapt my curriculum to better meet the needs of my students. The professors were, in general, very supportive. Most of them worked extra hard to understand the balance of life outside the ...

I completed the Masters in Public Administration degree and feel it was exceptional in quality and rigor. And financially, it is not a rip-off for the money. I would recommend it highly.

I graduated from VSU in May of this year, 2006, from the ITED EdS. program. Through a course of unforeseen events, I have re-entered college. This time I am at a small 2 year school taking an online business course. I have been absolutely taken aback at how far they are behind VSU. Their WebCt/Vista is not set up for optimal student use as is VSU's, nor does the instructor follow any of the current learning/teaching paradigms I studied at VSU. I feel as though I have stepped backward through some time portal into an earlier decade. My criticism of the two year school's online program is proof that I learned from the ITED program at VSU. This experience has opened my eyes to just how well the professors at VSU prepared me. VSU has an awesome program. I am grateful to the instructors for my experiences there. Keep moving forward into the next decade!
