My CSU Education
August 5, 2011
I started CSU back in 1999, I believe. It has been a long journey for me. I took a year off from my studies due to work changes and lack of funds. I paid for my undergrad out of pocket because this worked for me at this time. I enjoyed the classes and learned more about my own determination than anything else. I never thought that I would get a degree. Everytime I started traditional ...

Excellent Online School
March 14, 2011
Overall, this online school has satisfied my educational needs. By the way, this school is not for everyone as you will need to teach yourself most of the time. It is also mainly designed for working adults who do not have the time to attend a regular B&M institution. The exams are relatively easy if you read and understand the course textbooks. Consequently, I really don't see why people complain about CSU. If you don't ...

EASY as can be
March 2, 2011
You have no idea how easy it is to get a degree at this "college". All undergrad classes have 8 tests. Each test is 10 multiple choice questions and 2 essay questions. They're all open book. You can complete a class in as little as 3 weeks or as long as 10 weeks. I just waited until the end of the third week then sat down and did the entire class in a day. 1 ...

BS Health Care Administration
November 16, 2010
I am nearly through with a BS in Healthcare Administration. I was able to transfer in 90 hrs of B&M credit, CLEP, & DSST exams, and will have spent just over a year completing the final 30 credits. The best thing about CSU is the support. They call you if there is any sign of an issue. They are very responsive to email inquiries, and really couldn't improve much on customer service. The free books ...

I'm going to CSU for over a year now and my experience has been nothing but terrific!!!! I always get help when needed, all the CSU staff is very nice and thoughtful. I always get my books on time, by the way they are free of charge and it's a big plus in this economy. CSU's prices are wonderful; they don't charge an arm and a leg for their classes. The quality of classes is very ...

I have been in executive managment for over 15 years and can attest to the value of the education I am receiving to be one of the best I have used. Must be self disciplined and organized to be successful. I have attended both classroom settings and distant learning and can truley say this has been the best and rewarding.

To answer your question, CSU will accept up to 15% of the degree requirements toward a DBA at CSU as transfer credits from other accredited institutions. Of course, up to half of the required courses toward a masters degree at CSU will be accepted as transfer credits from other accredited institutions. Hope this answers your questions. Also, CSU's website is quite informative.

I doubt that a DBA from CSU would be taken seriously by regionally accredited universities for employment purposes, but it may have some utility for consulting and certain private businesses. Though nationally accredited, CSU lacks regional accreditation, which is typically considered better than national. How would you be using the degree?

Definitely go with CSU. Forget Northcentral. North Central requires 81 credits as opposed to only 61 at CSU. Plus CSU has good faculty. Although NCU is accredited by both DETC and regional, it could take as much as four years to complete a degree there. At CSU you could probably finish (I assume you have a Masters that could transfer in) in two years. Let's face it - the earlier you earn the degree the quicker you can start earning more and using it.

Would you choose to earn your DBA from CSU or North Central University. I need someone to give me a honest opinion.

Is there an online school that provides a PhD in Occupational Safety and Health Engineering? I am currently in the masters program at CSU and want to get my PhD after I graduate.

Any ideas and help you can offer?

Thanks.

I graduated with my PhD in Occupational Safety and Health Engineering from CSU back in July 2000. The experience was a once in a lifetime. The education I obtained was priceless and the staff was always there for help.I decided to pursue 2 MBA,s as well through CSU and graduated in 2003 and 2004. The MBA's were paid through my employer at that time and I am very pleased to say that this education has helped me in so many ways. I strongly recommend this University to anyone who has a desire to succeed and the drive to accomplish their dream. The one thing I can tell you is, it is not easy, even though you study at your own pace, you are the one who has to buckle down and stay with the programs. There is alot of reading, writing and studying involved, but in the end the accomplishment is worth it. As far as I am concerned, CSU is a great educational institution that offers great programs with great people behind it. Thank you for changing my life and career!
Dr. Joyce Brothers said once: "In each of us are places where we have never gone, only by pressing the limits do you ever find them." I say, CSU will help you find them!
